The property is a quiet family oriented Bed and Breakfast guesthouse situated on the gentle green slopes of South Africa - offering famous Sea-Views from the Mountains over the Bay.

The Lodge offers magnificent double suite bedrooms opening onto a private terrace where you can relax and enjoy the awe-inspiring views and spectacular sunsets. Or just relax with a sun-downer and enjoy the peacefulness of the beautiful garden with the gentle sounds of water running and birds singing.

There is a Second House on the premises,where the owner resides in a Spacious ( 250 m2 = 2,691 sqft ), 3 bedroom house which can also be used to accommodate guests, should the new owner want to live elsewhere.

All rooms are air conditioned and equipped with satellite TV, fridge with mini bar, hairdryer, safe, coffee/tea facilities, toiletries and towels, ironing facilities and all beds are clothed in pure cotton bed-linen.

We have a formal lounge where you are invited to socialize with other guests or the owners, while being served a glass of wine, a beer or coffee & tea, or engage in a game of cards at the card table. The recreational room opens to the outdoor braai area where tables and chairs are set for you to enjoy a barbeque in the late afternoon. This room also has a pool table which is available to guests free of charge.

The dining room doubles up as a conference venue with seats for 20 people and a plasma TV screen with surround sound system and karaoke facilities. The Marine Bar is also in this room with a Full Liquor License and ample opportunity for socializing.

Gym facilities are offered in the manor house and all rooms have access to the internet via the private network on the premises.

Pristine beaches, sheltered bays and secluded coves encircle the majestic might of the Mountain, a World Heritage Site and home to some 8,500 species of flower.

For the energetic and those wanting to explore the abundance of the Capes fauna and flora, there are many walks and climbs up the Mountain through the Nature Reserves, or one of several other inner-city wildlife areas. (24-hour petrol and banking facilities are available throughout the Cape.)

The cobbled streets, with their delightful old buildings, and the first mosque in South Africa, stand in cultural contrast to the buildings of the oldest homestead and wine farm in the Cape.

We are focused on ensuring your stay is as comfortable as possible and offer every possible means to achieve this including: a shuttle service to most amenities, washing and ironing facilities, shoepolishing and wake-up call services. We are close to the Bay and its famous Beach (3km) for swimming, surfing, fishing, boat charter trips and whale watching.
